Born on 30th March 1968 in Bhind, Madhya Pradesh, Tiwari’s journey as a cartoonist began in 1985 when his first cartoon saw light in the 'Aacharan', a Hindi daily in Gwalior. Passionate, talented, and driven, Tiwari graduated postgraduate studies with a focus on Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology from Jiwaji University in Gwalior.
He started working as a staff cartoonist with 'Aacharan' in 1989, after doing independent work for various newspapers. From here started a journey of satire and humour, making him one of the widely recognised cartoonists in India.
Between 1991 to 1993, he served as a staff cartoonist at the Gwalior edition of Dainik Bhaskar, then he worked at its Indore edition from 1993 to 1996. In a career plentiful with diversity, Tiwari again found himself at a new venture from 1996 to 1997, when he joined Dainik Hindustan in Lucknow as the cartoonist. He didn’t stop here, Tiwari further worked at the Jaipur edition of Dainik Bhaskar from 1997 – 1998.
Since 1998, he is working with Rajasthan Patrika, where he serves as an assistant editor in the present day. Rajasthan Patrika is one of the leading newspapers in Rajasthan, being published in both Hindi and English.
